The Oscar Neo juicer is more compact than the previous Vitalmax
juicer and now includes a retractable carry handle. The new
economical 150 watt motor is more efficiently designed and now requires less power to do the same job
as before.
Oscar have installed a 5-step Pressure Adjustment feature to the DA
1000 juicer which is normally only found on the more expensive twin gear juicers. This
adjuster controls the amount of pressure that is applied to the
fruit and vegetables as it moves through the juice extractor, ensuring the maximum
yield of juice is obtained from each types of produce.
The main juicing parts including the filter screen, mincing cone, auger and the new pressure adjustment nozzle are all made from the super-tough GE Ultem TUFF material which is 8 times stronger than previously used materials.
This ensures that parts will need replacing less due to wear and
tear.
Wheatgrass, aloe leaves, pine needles and other medicinal herbs can be juiced with ease and to reflect this confidence
on the new super-touch parts, Oscar have given the Neo juicer an extra 5 years warranty on
its parts - making it an astounding 10 years in total for parts warranty and
an amazing 20 years warranty on the motor.
Food Processing
Much like its predecessor, the Oscar Neo juicer is a Dual Stage single auger masticating juicer that is capable of juicing all types of fruits and vegetables and is also a very capable wheatgrass juicer. It can also used as a mini food processor as it can produce nut butters, sorbets and ice cream. It can also mince meat, garlic, scallions, red pepper, ginger, radish and many other foods, including herbs and seasonings. Organic baby foods or soft foods for palliative care are quick and easy to prepare with the included homogenising screen and it can even makes pasta and noodles. With its modern styling and range of attractive colours, the Oscar 1000 juicer won’t look out of place in the modern kitchen.
The dual stage action of the Neo juicer squeezes the fruits and vegetables at two separate points on the filter screen as it passes through the machine. A silicon seal on the filter screen and another on the pusher helps to create a greater back-pressure which results in a higher yield of juice whilst containing less fibre. Dual Stage juicers have already revitalised single gear juicing with the latest advancements in manufacturing allowing a functional, high yielding, less pulp extraction process and the Neo juicer has just taken that one step further.
Combine all the above with the Oscar juicers slow rotating, 3 step auger turning at around 80 revolutions per minute, this ensures that living juice is always produced. Less speed, means less oxygen is introduced - extending the shelf life of the juice up to 48 hours. The delicate cold press pestle action of the Oscar Neo juicer means the juice retains up to 100% more calcium than high speed juicers and a significantly higher volume of juice is produced that doesn’t separate or discolour.
The patented design of the Oscar DA1000 juice extractor, including the silicone sealed juicing screen, drum and silicone sealed pusher creates a ’turbulent force’ which allows maximum juice extraction resulting in an increased nutritional value. Also, the minimum amount of fibre being present in the extracted juice. This makes it ideal for juicing softer fruits like, oranges, berries, pineapple etc. which can prove troublesome for other juice extractors.
